Bee Hub Pension

We ended up at ALMONT Beach Resort for the same price per room, and it was 1000’s X better. It’s 20 minutes away, but traffic wasn’t too bad and they had a shuttle. The only positive thing about Bee Pension house was being 7 minutes from the port. Finding the place was difficult, and we made 3 U-turns before we found it. The road was good and there was plenty of parking, including gated overflow parking. Inside looked okay at first, but people were milling around outside the rooms on their phones, making the hallway busy and noisy. I’m not sure whether their air conditioner or internet was the problem. We booked through EXPEDIA because it was close to SURIGAO PORT, and it was the biggest mistake we ever made through EXPEDIA. Their cancellation policy seemed nonexistent, even though they had made the mistake. We’d paid for 2 FAMILY rooms, each with a double bed and a twin bed. Instead, they tried to give us one family room with stairs down to the bathroom and two twin rooms with just one twin bed each. My husband and I were expected to sleep in separate rooms, lol. The bathroom looked dirty, and when I flushed the toilet, the flusher didn’t work. The sheets looked used, like the beds had just been made again. We said the twin rooms weren’t acceptable and asked to cancel. They told us to call Expedia, which we did. Expedia said they couldn’t reach the facility, so we couldn’t get a refund. We escalated it to VISA. I’d stay far, far away from Bee Pension house.
