Keni Po Rooms

March 2025: We had a family room with furniture, a TV with Netflix, and the basic necessities. You can request kitchenware and utensils if you want to cook, and there's plenty of parking. The place is clean throughout, including the rooms, corridors, paths, and shared areas. It's compact but makes good use of the space: the two-storey building has private rooms for two and family rooms for four, with a three-door villa beside it, two two-storey cabanas nearby, and a swimming pool. The pool water is cold, which makes sense for Tagaytay, though warmer would be nice. It's pet friendly, and the staff are all happy workers. A homey, intimate place for a family, group of friends, or couple to stay a night or so.

I've been coming back to Keni Po since team-building trips with my teammates 10-15 years ago, and recently stayed five days in their villa. I'm amazed they have kept the facilities up over the years while keeping the prices low. Tagaytay has plenty of places to stay, but I return for the warm welcome, simple feel, location, pool, ability to cook in the villas, and the price. It was Php 3500 for 6 pax, around USD80. They also have an in-house restaurant and food service, plus FREE WIFI. All the staff are well trained and accommodating, including Ma'am Agnes, Sir Jp, and the rest of the team. Thank you, Keni Po!

The fee was reasonable, parking was ample, and the food was good. The TV remotes were universal ones and pretty banged up. Internet was extremely slow, or there was no connection, when all the rooms were occupied.

For a budget-friendly stay in Tagaytay, Keni Po is hard to beat for the money. I visited six years ago and it still didn't disappoint. The room had a flat-screen TV with a nice channel selection, plus a DVD library where you could borrow movies. Wi-Fi was strong, the A/C worked well, and there was a minibar with cold Coke at a reasonable price. Outside the room, the swimming pool and garden were well maintained. It's right beside Ina ng Laging Saklolo Church, so it's easy to locate.
