We were a little unsure after seeing some one-star reviews, but decided to try it because older reviews had been positive. We stayed on December 13, 2025. The rooms were clean, and Ms. Sally was pleasant and accommodating. Dogs wander around the area, but they were friendly. We had a great experience and enjoyed the lovely views.

The ants on the walls were a letdown, and they couldn’t even manage to crawl in a straight line, though I guess you can’t blame them. The bathroom light was suuuper dim too. Still, it’s okay if you can sleep with ants around.

It’s quiet and peaceful here, while still being close to tourist spots. The staff are accommodating. There are huge mosquitoes, but that’s fair enough with all the trees and grass around. I’ve stayed twice now and it hasn’t disappointed. I’d come back, 10/10.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. It wasn’t clean, and there was a bad smell from dogs with mange. The linens were old and didn’t look properly washed. I also saw ants and cockroaches. Tall grass and poor upkeep made the surroundings look neglected, and the receiving area was unpleasant. The floors were slippery.

Don’t be fooled. It’s scary and dirty, and smelly dogs are allowed to roam inside the house. 😡
