The room had a TV and charging outlets, and there was plenty of space, including in the bathroom. The bed was comfy, the room was air-conditioned, and I really liked the bed. I stayed overnight in the suite with my two siblings during our Tagaytay trip. The bathtub wasn’t working properly, and hot water didn’t always come through the faucet when we turned it on. I expected the water to be warm in Tagaytay, especially with the cold weather and the air-conditioned room, but it stayed cold and felt icy against my body. The older couple who greeted us, whom I thought were a couple, were hospitable and smiled as they spoke with us. You might like staying in this suite. God Bless!

The staff were always smiling and helpful, and both the air conditioning and heater worked, so we could enjoy the bathtub even with the chilly weather outside. The room was comfortable and had space for up to six adults, which makes Sugar Pines a good option for a family or group wanting a relaxed stay in Tagaytay. It has the look of an old house, and all the rooms are upstairs, so you do have to climb to reach yours.

I booked a hotel suite, but nobody was there to meet me when I arrived. The instructions said to call after 8 p.m., so I tried the number several times, but no one picked up. I paid for services I didn't receive, and they refused to refund me. Hotels.com agreed with me, but the hotel just takes your money and doesn't provide the service. I wouldn't recommend it.

The room was properly air-conditioned, and the owners were approachable and easy to talk to. It was a good place to stay, though the bathtub didn't work properly while we were there.
