Every unit is privately owned, so the owners and caretakers differ. For an affordable, good staycation, I'd recommend Casa Luis.
Re-uploaded review: The room has a big bathroom, two king beds as an option, and LED lights you can switch on, off, or change colors with a remote. It's luxurious and high tech, with a view of taal volcano. The downsides were a long wait, difficult parking, and covered parking at 1,000 pesos. There's no hotel food. Still worth it to me, five stars.
The grounds are nicely kept, with refreshing outdoor space that's family friendly, plenty of open space, and good amenities. It's a nice place for a vacation rental or even as an investment. Some units could use remodeling, and I've run into mold and noisy neighbors. Those are the downsides with the condos.
The view from Tower 2's 21st floor was breathtaking, and the room was fairly okay. Staff were kind and friendly, especially the security guards, who explained how to get around inside and outside the property. The facilities are superb, with indoor and outdoor pools and lounge areas, badminton and tennis courts, and more. It's a shoebox condo, so don't expect smoking areas. The elevators are slow, and sometimes only half of them work. The commercial floor needs more shops, and caddies or service carousels would help people get between towers. I'm considering becoming a resident or homeowner at SMDC Wind Residences.
