A very clean and tidy hotel. What you get for what you pay makes it a good experience.

The staff are kind, polite, and helpful. Room 1 was amazing after we were transferred there: it was larger, closer to reception, and away from the barking dog. The hotel is near a shopping centre, and there are shops within walking distance that stay open from midnight to 3am. I’d definitely stay here again, but I’d avoid room 12, which wasn’t among their best rooms. Thank you Darunday Manor. For a standard queen room, message or email the hotel straight away and ask them not to put you in room 12 on the 2nd or 3rd floor. It was the last floor. The room was a good size, but the bed was so small I nearly fell out when I turned in my sleep. The big aircon took ages to blow cold air and was loud. The advertised city view was actually a neighbour and messy surroundings. There’s also a very loud dog that barks all day. Even with earplugs, I could hear both the aircon and barking. The shower pressure started out fine, then slowed as I showered, and there was little to no hot water from the shower head. Oddly, the toilet basin water was hot enough to burn your hand, so be careful. Water under the sink didn’t drain towards the hole and stayed on the surface because the floor isn’t level. There are no lifts, so ask for the first floor if you have heavy things. One other thing: when reception wanted the man to do something, she shouted from the reception area, and staff elsewhere shouted back.

The staff were really kind, and getting around was easy: there’s a 7/11 and other 24-hour convenience stores nearby, plus the plaza, mall, and market are very close. You can find a toktok right outside, and the laundry is on the first floor. We stayed for a week while trying to keep travel costs down, and I’m glad we chose this place. It worked out great for us.

The people working here made the stay. They were wonderful, helpful, and easy to deal with. The location is convenient too, with Town square and other spots for food and groceries close by on foot. I’d stay here again next time I’m in the area.

We left after just one night, even though we’d booked four. There were cockroaches running all over the room. The service itself was friendly and helpful, but the night shift worker didn’t speak any English.
