The location works well, near Tagum's Central market, with a 7/11 just a few minutes away on foot. Pharmacies, restaurants, and the bus station are nearby too, and there's secure overnight parking for a car or motorcycle. It's clean and affordable, with working air conditioning, hot water, and clean mattresses. The catch is that the affordable rooms have no windows. For a window, expect to pay about 2000 pesos (July 2025). If a window isn't important to you, the place is reasonably good. Booking in person gives you a 24-hour stay. For example, checking in at 3:00 p.m. lets you stay until 3:00 p.m. the next day. Online bookings cost less, but checkout is at 12:00 p.m. the following day, on the usual check-in/check-out schedule.

I was happy with the value and gave it four stars. My new room was clean, and the toilet and bath looked new. The staff were accommodating and nice, and the Wi-Fi signal was strong. They don't provide toothpaste or toothbrushes, though, and there are no meals available in-house.

The water pressure could be stronger. Apart from that, my first impression was that the room was clean and comfortable, and there wasn't even a smell in the toilet.

When we were checking in, a large rat was wandering around the kitchen. In the rain, dirty-looking water comes from the sink and shower. On the plus side, the room was clean and well ventilated, the Wi-Fi was fast, the location was convenient, and there was a hot shower.

For the price, it was better than I expected. The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked very well. The bathroom was clean too, with working hot and cold shower. It's close to the public market, which might not suit you if you're fussy. They don't serve meals, and the elevator wasn't working, but overall I felt I got more than the price suggested.
