Hotel Sogo Tarlac

The staff were friendly and check-in was quick. Rooms are clean, and for the very low price you get complimentary shampoo, a toothbrush, toothpaste, and other basics. Room service is available at an affordable rate, and the hotel is close to sm. The one problem was the stairs beside the elevator: we tried them to reach our room and found they led to a pitch-black, open construction site, with no sign warning guests not to use them.

This is my third stay here, on October 12. I asked whether they kept records of my earlier visits, but apparently they don’t. I’m not sure what changed, but I wasn’t charged for early check-in on either of my previous two stays. I hope they make the SOP consistent each time. I also spoke with three different people, and none could help or explain why this visit was different from the last two.

Comfortable, clean room, and noticeably better than the other Sogo hotels I’ve stayed in.

I’m staying in the Regency room, 417, at Branch 26. The air conditioning works great, the place is clean, and the staff are friendly. Melody deserves a special mention. From what I’ve seen, she works hard, and her smile makes it seem like she’s satisfied with her boss. Keep up the good work.
