I wouldn’t recommend it. There were worms in the bathroom, it smelled of sewage the whole time, and the water was cold even with a heater. The mattress and pillows were really thin and uncomfortable. I also heard dogs hurting each other through the night. The courtyard with its porches was nice, and the dog out front was cute, but that didn’t make up for the problems.

There’s a decent outdoor kitchen, and nearby you’ll find a shop, bakery, grill, pharmacy, ATM, and gym, probably the only one in Panglao. It’s also close to two of the best beaches, though each is more than a kilometer away. The grounds are well kept, guarded, and set back from the road, so it stays quiet. The air conditioning is quiet, the internet is fast, and there’s a large bathroom with hot water in the shower. The atmosphere is very friendly. For this price, it has everything I need.

Parking is about 200 meters away, down a dark alley in a muddy construction site, and there’s no security for the vehicle. It’s so far from the hotel that you can’t see your car. You also have to ask the staff to turn on the water when you want to use the toilet, bathe, or wash your hands. The staff did try to make our stay a good one.

It’s a clean, newly built place with cold air conditioning and a large bathroom, and it’s about a kilometer from Alona Beach. Breakfast is provided, but it isn’t served early enough for island hopping that starts at 6 am, so you need to ask them to pack it up.
