Meaco Royal Hotel-Taytay

I picked this place for a 24-hour stay after a fight with my mom left me unable to focus on work at home. The cheapest room was ₱1,200, and I expected very little, but the bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean, and the three pillows were decent. The split air conditioner cooled the room really well. They supplied two towels and pairs of slippers, plus soap, shampoo, and other basic toiletries. There's no free drinking water, though you can buy some downstairs. The key card system was a nice security feature. My one real gripe was the smell in the bathroom. It's right in Taytay Bayan, so food is easy to find nearby. I'd still recommend it.

The rooms are lovely, and the price felt fair. There are elevators to reach the upper floors, too.

The room was comfortable, and even with the busy surroundings, there was barely any traffic noise, so I slept peacefully. The staff were clearly very friendly. Just check that your electronic room key still works whenever you leave, and let reception know if it doesn't so they can reset it before you collect it again. Water pressure was often low, but still usable. :)

The staff are always nice and helpful, and it's in a good spot for nearby places to visit. For an affordable stay, this hotel is a good choice. The bed covers were clean and didn't feel itchy against my skin 😁. The toilets are the downside, though. I hope they fix the smell soon. It stinks until you get used to it, lol.
