Our room was clean enough, though it had no window. The reservation included merienda, a breakfast buffet, and free coffee. There’s a rooftop spot to hang out and order food, plus the Grimaldi bar. We happened to catch the band playing during our stay, and there’s a pool for a morning dip. The staff were welcoming and always smiling.

I slept well despite some outside noise from jeeps honking and motorcycles speeding by. It was fairly minimal for me, but if you're sensitive to it, ask for a room away from the road. The hotel is right by the main road next to a gas station, so it's easy to spot. There’s an X-ray machine in the lobby to screen belongings, and the reception area is spacious. The rooms were neat and clean, with a roomy full bathroom and hot and cold water. Staff were courteous and attentive. Thanks to Sir Ivan for helping me get to my room on the fourth floor, and to Tala for serving us so well. The food service was good, and I still think about the tasty tuyo at breakfast. We were here for DOH training over 3D/2N. It’s a nice option for staycations, meetings, and seminars. The function room has limited capacity, but the audio-visual equipment was okay.

This is a hotel I won't return to. I left with more stress and grief than rest, and the busy road noise comes straight through the windows because they aren't double glazed. If you're a paying guest rather than part of a government booking, here's what happened to us. We had booked a junior suite and an extra bed on 29th June. When we checked in on 14th November, they said no extra bed was left and that beds were first come, first served or subject to availability. They didn't apologize. We had to complain and make a fuss about what seemed to us a basic hotel obligation before they addressed it. There was no liquid soap on Day 1. We asked for a refill the next day, but then waited 20 minutes. We got back to the room at 11:40pm after a long day on Day 2, still without soap, and it didn't arrive until after midnight. Breakfast is handled by Figaro, and we waited 50 minutes to be served. Guests on a government booking got a buffet straight away. Parking is in front of the hotel, where public transport vehicles or government patrons are allowed to double park. When we needed to drive out, the wait was at least 20 minutes. The location is good, but the noise made it hard to sleep. If you're part of a government entourage, it seems you may have a much better stay.

The road outside was noisy without a break, and earplugs seemed necessary for sleeping. Double-glazed windows would help with that. I was disappointed by how the room booking worked. There are two kinds of standard room, and the first one I got was extremely small and didn't match the room shown online that I had booked. After I complained, they offered the room I originally chose for an extra charge, but I didn't get it until the third day. It left me feeling misled, almost scammed.

Internet was awful. In 2025, 5mbps just doesn't cut it. The street-facing room was also extremely loud, with the area being used for racing, so don't count on getting any sleep. Food was average, and the meeting rooms were cramped. For two people sharing a room, they gave us just one key card, saying they had too many customers and only had that one. That meant going to reception whenever one of us got locked out. Infuriating. I don't recommend this hotel, especially for government agencies or companies planning meetings and workshops. 1 star.
