Ever O Business Hotel

Our kids enjoyed the stay at Ever O Business Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. It’s close to the airport, which made things convenient. A good option for families with young children, and we had a pleasant experience that we’d recommend to other families.

I stayed six days. The location is great and the room was okay, but they should check the beds regularly. One had a broken leg. I reported it at the front desk, but they didn’t seem keen to fix it; I was busy enjoying my vacation and didn’t follow up. The security guards were helpful, and I appreciate them finding parking for us. Housekeeping was very nice too, but the front desk service needs improvement.

After a long, exhausting two-day journey and while dealing with jet lag, I needed to rest before my noon checkout. Instead, a cockroach under my pillow and the way the hotel handled it left me unable to rest. At around 8:00 in the morning, I told the receptionist. She said she’d alert the cleaner, but no one came while I waited in my room. I called the front desk too, with no action. The cleaner only showed up as I was getting ready to leave. When I went downstairs again, the receptionist called the manager. The manager couldn’t communicate properly and kept saying “he” instead of “she.” There was no proper apology or solution. I asked for a partial refund because I hadn’t reached checkout time, but they refused, saying I’d already stayed overnight. I had stayed overnight, but there were still hours left that I couldn’t use because of the problem. The room was dirty, the toilet was brown, and there wasn’t enough tissue. They gave just one towel, which felt very unhygienic. How is a guest supposed to use the same towel for body, face, and hair? I’ve never experienced this kind of poor hotel standard before. I’m very disappointed with Ever O Hotel in Zamboanga, especially the cleanliness, customer service, and professionalism.

A great hotel find in Zamboanga City. We booked the Junior Suite for 3,500 and the Superior Room for 2,500, both with complimentary breakfast. The rooms were amazing, with comfortable beds and sheets, and the bathrooms were clean with big mirrors. Staff were accommodating from check-in through checkout. I loved the coffee from the lobby cafe, and breakfast was a really satisfying treat. The location is good too, right beside SM and a few attractions.
