We agreed with the boss, Hazrat/Hussain, and Imtiaz on a room for 5,000 rupees. When we went to rest, the manager put us out, saying that room cost 8,000 rupees and we should take another one. The boss then said the second room would cost 6000 rupee. We reminded him that the first price we’d agreed on was 5,000, but he changed it to 6,000 and told us, “Take it or leave it.” We said goodbye and left. That was very, very rude.

The guest house is spacious and welcoming, with comfortable beds and very clean, modern rooms. The owner’s hospitality is amazing, even compared with the wonderful people of Pakistan. I stayed three nights and will definitely return when I’m back next year. Hands down the best place to stay in Gilgit. I can’t recommend Naveed Tourist Inn enough.

The owner was a delight to talk with, funny and clearly someone who cares about tourists. The room was exceptionally clean, and the staff were so friendly. For the price, I can't imagine finding a better stay. This has been my best hotel experience.

On my way south, I came back to Naveed's for an overnight stop, and Junaid greeted me like an old friend. The place was spotless, the Wi-Fi worked great, and he and his very friendly staff made sure I was comfortable. I also had some good chats and met lovely international travelers who later joined me for adventures in Hunza valley. This is easily the best hotel I've stayed at in Pakistan. If you're in Gilgit, stay here.

Rooms are clean and the rates are affordable, which made Naveeds Tourist Inn a good base for exploring Gilgit. Mr. Junaid, the owner, is really friendly and knowledgeable. We had some great conversations.
