If you can't find another option, this is a safer bet, especially at night when it's the only decent hotel you can find in gilgit. Other places in the area are worse, though some hotels may offer better value for money.

The electricity goes out for 20-23 hours everyday here, and with no power the LCD doesn't work. The rooms have mosquitoes, internet keeps cutting out, there is no smart TV, and the washroom is basic, with no reliable electricity or heating and no handwash. Customer service and amenities need a lot of improvement, considering they have been there since the 1990s. I found a place 100x better for the same price, just 15 min drive from park view. Families who haven't stayed in a good hotel or have little exposure to other places might get a good impression. For educated families or those used to traveling, the typical staff and services would feel absolutely pathetic. Not recommended at all for families.

The staff are nice, so they get one star. But there was no hot water, the Wi-Fi was bad, and electricity kept coming and going. Avoid.
