Sitara Hotel could suit budget-conscious visitors looking for a convenient base in Islamabad. It’s near Shah Faisal Mosque and places to eat, including Savour Pulao, Loafology Bakery and Sesame & Soy. The air-conditioned rooms have WiFi, and family rooms include TVs and sofas. Pricing is competitive, check-in is available around the clock, and the hotel has received a Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice award. There aren’t many detailed guest reviews, so it’s difficult to judge how consistent the service is. Guests with cars may find the lack of on-site parking inconvenient. There’s no restaurant, pool, airport shuttle, or breakfast service, and no extra bed option, which may not work well for families with young children.

A stay here feels royal, with elegant accommodation and fine dining. It offers the comfort, luxury, and world-class service you’d expect from a five-star hotel.

Please, please don’t stay here. There’s no cleanliness, and the rooms are in terrible shape, with old, rough furniture and a bad smell. The sheets and dusty, smelly blankets had oil and other stains on them. The washrooms are also in poor condition, the shower doesn’t work, and there’s no place to hang things. I really can’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

I went to the Sitara Hotel G7 branch today on a friend’s recommendation, but it was below standard compared with what I’d heard about other branches, like G9. The lunch was uncooked, and I was very unhappy with the cooking. I ordered dinner around 9 pm, then waited two hours. When it came, it was missing raita, salad, and, most importantly, chapati. I called reception many times, even to ask for a bottle of water, but got nothing but weak excuses. I’m dissatisfied with this branch’s service and won’t stay there again. This kind of management could ruin the reputation of Sitara hotels.

The staff are good and cooperative, and they don’t bother you when you’re with family and have booked online. This is an affordable place to stay in Islamabad, but I’d recommend it only if your budget is tight and you just need a roof over your head. Online rates can be a bit higher than the walk-in price at reception, though booking ahead gives peace of mind, so the small difference feels justified.
