The staff and management at Hunza Darbar Hotel handled the Hundan Film Festival with a lot of support, even with all the event chaos. I came down with food poisoning before the trip, not from the hotel, and they helped arrange medical support, checked on me several times, and made sure I was alright. The chef also went out of his way to meet my dietary needs, which made a big difference. The hotel has a great vantage point for views of Ulter Peak, Rakaposhi, and Baltit Fort, with that old Hunza postcard feel. It's one of the area's older, established hotels. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, a buffet with live stations, a good range of choices, and local butter and jams, all simple but well done. The bathrooms are a bit dated, with the old marble tiling you see in regal hotels. That may be the next thing they upgrade when they renovate. I had excellent room and water heating during my late November stay. It was a really positive visit, and I'd happily return.

I went to the restaurant for food and coffee, but half the food wasn't available, so I ordered coffee instead. Three coffees took 20 minutes, and they turned out to be instant coffee mixed with milk. The menu price was 350 each, but the bill charged 600 per coffee. We felt cheated and paid, then they didn't bring back our change. I'm definitely not going back and wouldn't recommend the place.

The staff were friendly and professional, and the service was pretty good. Everything else was top notch, though the Wi-Fi could use some improvement. Great experience.

Centrally located, with a beautiful mountain view and great food. The staff at the darbar hôtel were very kind, and I really enjoyed my stay. I'd happily stay here again if I come back to Hunza, and highly recommend it.

The rooms may need refurbishing soon, but they're spacious and the view across the whole valley, dominated by Mt. Rakaposhi, is amazing. Service, staff, and breakfast were all very nice. I'd stay here again and recommend the property.
