Offto Resort

The apricot juice with breakfast was the highlight for me. We stayed three nights, and the hospitality was spot on: professional staff and an incredibly clean room. There was a small WiFi issue at check-in, but they sorted it out right away. Loved the place and we’ll be back next year.

On our honeymoon around Hunza, Skardu, and Gilgit, my wife and I stayed at Offto Resort and were extremely pleased with the service. The staff were responsive and cooperative, listened to our requests, and provided everything we needed with a smile. We haven’t had hospitality this good at any other hotel so far, and it made the trip even more memorable. We’ll choose to stay here again when we visit. Thank you!

We booked five nights at Offto Resort Hunza in Karimabad through Trip.com, but personal circumstances meant we had to leave after just one. We’d already paid in full, and the hotel kindly understood and refunded the remaining nights, keeping only the charge for the first night. Even during that short stay, the resort impressed us with its facilities, staff hospitality, and genuine kindness. We’ve stayed in countless hotels on our world trip, and this was one of the most impressive. Special thanks to Front Office Lead Ms. Kulsoom Sajid for her warm, professional help, and Restaurant Captain Safia Karim for the delicious breakfast and fresh apricot juice. Highly recommended for Hunza and Karimabad.

We were disappointed with how the problems during our stay were handled. On the first night, a cockroach came out of the bed sheets. We know this is an outdoor-style stay, but the response wasn’t handled effectively. We were told the room would be cleaned, yet when we came back that evening the same sheets were still there, with the dead cockroach mark left on them. We had to wait 45 minutes in the cold while they put in a new mattress and bedding, and we were uncomfortable and tired. We asked for a refund for the remaining nights, or at least the night we’d just spent there, but they refused even after we pleaded. A new room was promised for the next day, but while we were travelling it was given to someone else. We got fresh bedding and a mattress, but stayed in that room for three nights without being offered cancellation or a refund. Customer satisfaction wasn’t met. The rooms were also very cold, almost like glamping or camping booths. They gave us a gas heater, but the canister smelled strongly of gas, which concerned us. We had a toddler and were assigned the highest rooms in the hotel, so the steep climb several times a day was difficult. There is a shuttle bus, but it has only one seat and was sometimes in use or not operating, which made things harder. I’d recommend the hotel check whether guests include children or elderly people when assigning rooms. At first, arriving at Offto was incredible. The views were amazing, the road up was beautiful, the rooms seemed clean, and the restaurant breakfast was tasty.
