Davis Hotel

I was looking for a low-cost hotel in Lahore for a friend coming from Karachi, and this one was well within budget. The room was average, but the decor was nice, the AC worked well, the Wi-Fi was fast, and staff were polite. Cleaning and room service were quick, so I was pleased with the quality for the price and would recommend it. They don't serve breakfast. Gourmet Foods is right behind the hotel, though, so you can buy groceries there during your stay.

The staff were nice, but the food was awful. I wouldn't recommend staying here with family. I can't share photos right now, but I swear this place isn't for families. It seems to be used by young men and women for dirty work, rather than as a place to rest. Whatever.

The bathroom exhaust and the room exhaust weren't working, and the wet floor made the room smell. The washroom fixtures were broken and its door wouldn't close. The rooms were below average, and the mattress was uncomfortable. A very, very bad experience.

The location is the one thing going for this place. It's in a semi-commercial area with old, poorly kept buildings. There are three hotels on the street, and all are below standard, but this is the worst of them. The rooms were dark and dusty, the bedrooms dirty, and the bathroom filthy. Pathetic place.
