Hotel Royal Grand

At check-in, I was told there were no rooms, even though I'd reserved one, so they moved me to their other property, Hotel Haven Suite. The room was quite compact, ending almost as soon as you entered. It was clean enough, but it didn't have the full set of amenities. The towels were damp and there were no replacements. Air conditioning was there, but switching it on cost an extra 2500. The refrigerator advertised for the property wasn't in the room and could only be accessed through staff. They gave me water when I arrived, which I took to be complimentary or an apology for the room change, but I was charged for it at checkout. The online listing said breakfast was 350 including tea; I was charged 450 for breakfast and another 150 for tea, as if each item was priced separately. I was told hot water would be available from 6:00 to 10:00 AM, but when I tried around 9:30 AM, there wasn't any. When I brought these problems up while checking out, staff didn't accept responsibility or apologize. They blamed me for not contacting them when each issue happened.

The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained, which made it a relaxing place to stay. The location was perfect too, with nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants easy to reach. Staff were incredibly polite and helpful, and made me feel welcome throughout. Room service was quick and professional, with fresh, delicious food arriving right on time. Everything exceeded my expectations. It was a fantastic stay, and I'd highly recommend it for comfort, quality, and service.

The place felt secure, and the staff were so kind, helpful, and cooperative that they even let us keep one room past checkout. Cleanliness in the rooms and toilets gave us a hard time, though. I really hope they use cleaner bedsheets and scrub the toilets properly so visitors can feel at home. Thank you!
