Ramada by Wyndham Lahore Gulberg II

The restaurant staff were spot on, and the cleaners we met in the corridor were welcoming and went out of their way to help. The rooms were spacious and reasonably clean, though I noticed rings on the tables where they hadn’t been wiped. We were a party of four, but there were only enough towels, water, and bathrobes for two, so I had to ask for more every day. Check-in felt rushed, and nobody showed me the Royal Suite features, such as lounge access, dry cleaning, the restaurant, or how to use the AC. I had to ask several times for basics like an iron, and there was an AC issue. The front desk wouldn’t speak English with me, which made me uncomfortable. I’d watched several YouTube videos from the UK and expected a high-end hotel with a family feel, a good compromise. I came away with mixed feelings, and probably wouldn’t stay again. Next time I’ll look at what other hotels offer.

I went for Hi-Tea with my colleagues, and the food tasted fine. We had a 1 to 3 slot, so there was plenty of time. The options were limited, but Hi Tea Buffet isn’t lunch plus Hi Tea, so the selection made sense. Overall, a good experience.

Getting around Lahore from Ramada Gulberg was easy, and it felt like good value for the money. The room was comfortable, though not very spacious. Parking was busy, but the valet was helpful. We also had good room service and a warm welcome.

The executive room came with access to the lounge and gym, which was useful while I was visiting Lahore from abroad. It was spacious and clean, with thorough cleaning each day. Breakfast was top notch, and I enjoyed dinner at Tagine several times. The staff were friendly and pleasant. The service and location impressed me, and I’d gladly return and recommend it to friends and family.
