Good food and cooperative staff. It's close to the bazar and tourist attractions, and the best place to stay in Balakot.

The rooms and washrooms were neat and well maintained, and parking was good. There's outdoor dining as well as a separate dining hall. Butt Karahi Restaurant is right next door, which is a blessing for its customers. A great experience.

My family, two adults and three children, really liked this place on our first visit to the area. We only stayed two hours, from 3 pm to 5 pm, but it was a peaceful stop with tasty food, though the choices were limited. We enjoyed the riverside and the staff's hospitality. They were very cooperative, and management was superb for such a small place. A couple of suggestions: add a stainless steel railing door on the river side so families can reach the river through the hotel instead of going outside. It could be locked in normal circumstances, rather than blocking the track with hedges or wood. More food choices would be good too. Hopefully we'll come back in summer to explore the area.

The chicken white karahi is a recommended dish, and the rooms are neat. The Kunhar river has shifted its water farther from the windows. The pillows are hard and slightly disrupted my sleep, but the cold shower water was very nice and refreshing.
