The staff were helpful, and they provided enough mattresses and quilts. Breakfast was okay, with good parathas and tea, though the omelet was undercooked once. The standard room was disappointing: the TV was too small, the cable didn’t work, and the sink tap was broken with no hot water at any time. Hot water was available only from 6-10am each day. I got this room through a tour agency and wouldn’t have chosen it myself. I might return, but never to the standard room.

The dining area is cozy, and warm water is available, but the rooms get expensive in season. The rice was pathetic, and they don’t know how to cook Chinese food. When we ate in the open serving area and asked for refills, the waiters were rude and showed attitude. The restaurant also adds a 10% service charge.

The location is about a 15-minute walk from the main market, which works well if you want to stay away from it. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the warm water was readily available. We had handi and Dal for dinner, and both were delicious. Wi-Fi wasn’t up to the mark, so it could have been a five-star stay if that had been better. The driver rooms need attention since they’re neglected.
