The rooms were decent, but the service was extremely poor. They first agreed to a nightly rate, then raised it by 25% within an hour without giving any reason. It felt like they were taking advantage of us. They also said hot water would be available from 6 am to 9 am, but that wasn't true. Electricity was the biggest problem.

The staff were cooperative, and the location was ideal, with all the top food spots within walking distance. For its price range, the room was the best compared with others nearby. I'd definitely stay here again.

The rooms are quite good, but the service was very bad. I had a very bad experience with the hotel staff. They lie and don't keep their commitments. I don't recommend it.

The city-centre location is handy, and my room was comfortable with the amenities I needed. The staff were really friendly, and the food was fresh and tasty. Internet was available too. There were some downsides. I was in room 101, near the entrance, and it got a bit noisy. There were no windows, which felt depressing without any air coming in, and the bed was so low that getting up was difficult. There was no fan for hot weather, and the AC couldn't run during power cuts because they didn't operate the genset 24X7. At 16k a night, I also expected breakfast to be included.

The meals were a real highlight, from breakfast through dinner, and the chef clearly knows what they're doing. My room was comfortable, thoughtfully put together, and had stunning views of Skardu City and the surrounding mountains. What made the stay especially memorable was how warmly everyone treated us. From the front desk to housekeeping, the staff made us feel like family and went out of their way to help. Nisar was particularly warm and hospitable. Delight Hotel is a peaceful retreat in the heart of Skardu, and I'd love to come back.
