Oficerski Yacht Club Resort & Spa

The lakeside views are beautiful, and the building looks lovely from outside, but the stay was expensive and nowhere near worth the money. There was no heating, the showers were nearly cold, the toilet seat was broken, and the jacuzzi didn’t work. One side of our double bed sat lower than the other, so it was uncomfortable. The night receptionist was very helpful and polite, but the woman serving breakfast was rude and asked who was paying. This place has a perfect location, but it needs a management team with a positive vision for the future. There’s a lot that could be improved.

The young woman who welcomed us when we arrived was the only staff member we found pleasant. At breakfast, the woman serving kept asking who was going to pay for our stay, which felt very rude. The room was cold, with no heating or hot water, and one side of the mattress had collapsed. It’s a shame, because the hotel sits beside a beautiful lake and lovely gardens and has so much potential.

It’s a really nice lakeside spot, with a swimming area and fantastic views. Our room had no hot water, so we had to move. Breakfast was hit or miss too: when we arrived at nine, much of the food was gone, and although they replenished it after we asked, that shouldn’t have been necessary. A few more benches outside the rooms would be nice, along with at least two chairs and a bedside light in every room. English-language TV channels would also improve things.

A wonderful stay. I’ll come back.
