We ate some very good Polish dishes at the hotel restaurant, with fair prices. The hotel is pleasant and sits in a quiet spot near Bedzin castle.

6/10
The staff were friendly, and the location was convenient, but those positives were overshadowed by the lack of hot water. I reported it, yet it wasn't fixed during my stay, which made the room uncomfortable. For the price I paid, that basic amenity should have been available. I hope management fixes it so future guests don't run into the same problem. Until then, I'd hesitate to recommend Cumulus Hotel.

4/10
The staff weren't consistently professional or friendly, and the place is in the middle of nowhere. I only booked because everything else was full during the climate conference in Katowice, and the rate had been raised far beyond what the hotel was worth. It's an old-style hotel that needs refurbishment. Breakfast is basic, and if it isn't included in the price, there's no reason to get it.

The attached restaurant is a convenient place to try Lokal Polish delicacies. The hotel itself is nice and well located, with modern, quiet, comfortable rooms.

For the price, this is a very good hotel. The bed, shower, towels, kettle, and refrigerator all worked, and the free Wi-Fi was good. In our room, though, there weren't any power sockets near the bed, which I didn't like.
