Hotel Allegri

We left the hotel after a few hours, and only later did I realize I'd left my phone in the room. There was nobody at reception, so we'd left the key on the desk. When I called the owner, he said he wouldn't drive several dozen kilometers to let me in. It was around 1 a.m., and he said the cleaning lady could help in the morning. When we came back, the room key was missing. Check-in was still open, so I went with the cleaner to our room and found a woman there. It seemed she'd come in after we left and taken our key instead of her own. Cigarette butts were floating in the bathroom, and she looked very much like she'd had a rough night. I did get my phone back, but I'm never going there again. What a mess. Avoid the place completely.

The quiet surroundings were a welcome surprise. I hadn't expected much for the relatively low price, but the tidy, clean interior was tastefully decorated, and there was a decent restaurant too. I definitely recommend it.

The rooms were clean, the meals tasty, and prices moderate. A very nice hotel and restaurant.

Best company Christmas party I've been to.
