The beer was stale, and it took more than an hour to bring the mulled beer. The food was a mess too: after changing our order at least three times because they were short of pizza dough and couldn't cook the steak within an hour, they still got it wrong. We waited over two hours and one portion was missing. When the food finally came, the burger was cold and the fries tasted like they'd been cooked in old oil that had fried a lot of fish. The waitress couldn't write down the order correctly. It looked like most of the food was delivered from somewhere else, which might explain the delays. I've been here before, mostly on weekends, and it wasn't this awful, but I still wouldn't recommend it.

For £6, I got two pints of very nice amber beer, Pink Floyd followed by Queen, a warm atmosphere, and good service. What more could an Englishman ask for?

The home-brewed beer was incredible, and the karaoke night was a lot of fun even though we couldn't understand a word. People here really know how to party. Highly recommend it 👌

The room would work well for two friends traveling together, with almost everything needed for a normal daily routine. It is nearly the cheapest hotel around, though I still found it kind of expensive for what it offered. At that price, I expected better service. The TV is really old and takes up space; honestly, it might as well not be there.
