For 150 PLN a day, this was a GREAT place to relax, with nothing to complain about. The owner is friendly and loves talking about the city, so there's plenty of tourist information. The views right nearby look like they belong in a painting by a renowned artist. It's the most beautiful vacation I've ever had, with an incredible silence like you only hear in the mountains.

It was inexpensive and actually close to the city center. Still, for 150 PLN a night we got attic rooms with unbearable heat and no air to breathe. The bathroom also hadn't been fully cleaned after the previous guests. The price and central location are definite pluses. And a warning: after our less-than-stellar Booking.com review, the owner called to complain that we should have stayed in Żubrówka. Embarrassing.

Białowieża feels special, and now it's peaceful and pleasant. The food at Fanaberia was first class, some of the best we've had in a long time. I'll definitely recommend it and come back.
