Good location and clean rooms, though there was a funky smell. Breakfast was okay, and the coffee was mediocre. The Wi-Fi was fast. A nice hotel.

We stopped here on the way home, and the hotel was even better than we expected. Having a secure garage for our car mattered to us, and we were glad we could use one. It’s centrally located, so walking to the city center is easy. The receptionist, Wiktoria if I remember correctly, was friendly and helpful. Our fourth-floor room was a good size and comfortable, with a nice balcony and a view of the church. We even found a telescope in the room for watching starts. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in Poland.

I came to Bialystok for my niece’s Christening with my mother and two nephews, and this hotel has earned a special place in my heart. We had three rooms together on the fourth floor. I felt safer here than at places I’ve stayed in and around the UK. Staff were warm and welcoming, spoke at least two languages, and were always around to say hello when we returned from exploring or goodbye when we headed out to meet extended family. They answered our questions, too. I felt bad that I spoke so little Polish, and would like to change that. Our rooms weren’t cramped, and each was clean and comfortable, with towels and toiletries in the ensuite shower and toilet. We had balconies with outdoor seating, plus extra chairs inside, so we didn’t have to sit on the bed. There’s an iron and ironing board on each floor for guests. In the rooms there was a minibar for an extra charge, a wardrobe, desk, kettle, tea, coffee, and bottled water. Room service was available as well. There was even a telescope in the hallway to our floor for stargazing. I wanted to take the soft, comfortable pillows home. The city center is very close, with convenience shops, pharmacies, and plenty of places to eat. A shopping gallery or mall was an easy walk of about fifteen minutes away, though it was closed for Easter weekend. We were only here for the weekend and barely scratched the surface. There’s lots to see and do, and Bialystok has won a firm place in my heart. I’ll return for future trips. This was my first visit to Poland, and it won’t be my last. The hotel also hosted a sit-down gathering after the Christening, with balloons and a unicorn soft plush for decoration, plus a nicely laid-out table and covered chairs. There were plenty of ground-floor toilets. The restaurant has split levels, so mention any mobility issues to staff. Bravo. Loved it.

They don’t clean the room, just leave clean towels. They don’t even make the bed.

I can’t see how the hotel can keep offering its services with a neighbor like this. Rococo is a night club just 50 meters away, and if you get a room facing it, a sleepless night is guaranteed. It’s not only noise, the bass vibrations can actually be felt lying in bed. The hotel moved us to a room facing the inner yard, where you could still hear the beats, though they were less disturbing. The hotel itself is pretty good, and I feel sorry for them, but getting rest and sleep is basic for guests. It’s the hotel’s business responsibility to solve this, or they’ll lose their position and score.
