Orient Palace

The room was cozy, with a really comfortable bed, and breakfast was fresh and tasty. I also loved the Indian and European menu, and the cuisine was delicious. The hotel has a special Indian feel, with an on-site shop full of original Indian furniture, decorations, fabrics and clothes. It’s a magical place to browse, and the prices are very nice. The spa was the cherry on top. A highly qualified specialist gave me the Shirodara with Abhyanga Ayurvedic treatment, one of the best therapy massages I’ve tried. A wonderful experience ♡

We were really satisfied and had such a good time here. The premises were clean, the staff friendly, and the meals tasty. The pool and sauna were decent. There are only four loungers by the pool, though, and it gets busy in the evening. Still, I’d give it five stars.

The food was good, so credit to the kitchen. Without it, this would be two stars. The hotel is quite new, with clean, tastefully decorated interiors, but one of our rooms hadn’t been prepared, with no towels, robe or soap. You have to ask separately for a toothbrush. On arrival we got cards and almost no information about breakfast, checkout or facilities. The only explanation I could think of was that the guy was badly hung over. The walls seem paper thin, so noise carries from every direction, and the loud fridge woke me at night. There’s no extraction system, leaving the rooms humid with a faint damp smell. The pool water had so much chlorine that everyone’s eyes were itching after about 10 minutes. And those were the cheapest slippers I’ve ever seen. Three stars, and not a tenth more.

The hotel looks beautiful inside and out, and my room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious, and special thanks to the kitchen. The staff were friendly too. It’s very good here, and I definitely recommend it.
