Sudety Canna House

A lovely apartment with everything there and spectacular views of the mountains.

The balcony had a wonderful view, and the location was perfect. The apartment was beautiful and spacious, very thoroughly cleaned, and superbly equipped. I highly recommend it.

The best reason to stay here is getting out into the nearby mountains. The closest trail is about a six-minute drive away and goes up to the observation tower on Kalenica (964 m above sea level), with other peaks along the route. If you want a longer hike, you can carry on to Wielka Sowa (1015 m above sea level). Lake Bielawskie is visible from the apartment, and takes around 20 minutes to reach on foot. Bielawa looked a little abandoned at first, with so many boarded-up buildings, but the center has restaurants, shops, and people out walking. I didn't find anything especially distinctive about the town compared with other places. Sudety Canna House is a rental apartment on the fourth floor. That means a lot of stairs, though the balcony makes up for it with a lovely mountain view. Shops and the lake are close by. Restaurants are farther away but still walkable, and there's parking near the building. Inside, it's clean, spacious, and well kept, with furniture that mostly looks new. The kitchen furniture is older, but still in good shape. There's a bedroom with a big wardrobe and a double bed, plus a fold-out sofa bed in the living room for two more people. The living room also has a TV with internet access, and the balcony has a table and a lounger. The kitchen has the basics, including dishes, glasses, cutlery, coffee, tea, spices, a microwave, coffee maker, and kettle. The bathroom is large, with a shower roomy enough for two. Towels were set out on the bed, and there were decorative coffee or tea cups on the kitchen table. Books, toys, and maps of local trails and attractions are in the cabinets and hallway. Wi-Fi is free. A few things need attention: the hood wasn't working, the kitchen faucet kept dripping shortly after I turned the water off, and the toilet flush acted up once, with water continuing to run. It took several tries to flush again before the problem cleared. Check-in is online, with no need to meet staff. One code opens the staircase, and another goes into the keypad on the apartment doorknob. Inside, there's a keycard and keys to use until checkout. For a hiking trip, I found the apartment clean, comfortable, and spacious. The fourth-floor climb shouldn't bother people heading to the mountains, and it's a good place to stay overnight.
