Apartament Bielsko

Even for a small fee, I expect a room to be clean enough that I can shower and sleep in the sheets without feeling embarrassed. I've stayed in plenty of hostels and places with shared bathrooms and kitchens, and they were always clean and pleasant. Book "Pokoje Bielsko" through Booking and, despite the listed Kościuszki 11 address, you'll end up at this location in these conditions, as shown in the attached photos. I don't expect luxury, but I can't recommend it.

Getting in touch with the owner was difficult, and the men drinking shirtless outside the building made it scary to go out at night. Inside, the "apartment" smelled like a workers' hostel. My two-day stay was a complete disaster: dirty floors, hair in the bathtub, no basic hygiene products, worn towels, and stale bedding. The standard left a lot to be desired. I don't recommend it. For the same price, you could surely find somewhere nicer and more welcoming.

The heater didn't work either night, and there weren't any extra blankets. Some outlets only worked now and then because they were broken. There were plenty of other little issues too.

I paid a deposit after booking a week ahead, but on arrival day the owner switched me to a different owner's place on the other side of Bielsko. That apartment was a different standard from what we'd agreed, and there were problems there too. I don't recommend it at all.
