Breakfast was good at the restaurant across the street. The hotel was clean, and the room had comfortable beds. The bathroom was okay too.

I didn’t get a chance to visit the spa, though it looked nice from the street. The staff were helpful and cheerful, and the food at the restaurant opposite the hotel was good. It’s a cheap place with a great location for exploring the surrounding area’s WW2 stuff, including REISE. The hotel has a spa, but my bed wasn’t very good... :-/

The worst thing was the noise. I could hear every little movement around my room, from people talking to toilets flushing. If you don’t mind being surrounded by noise, you’ll fit right in here. The room was about what you’d expect in a small town. The mattress was much too soft for me, like sleeping on a sponge, though that may suit people who like a soft bed. In April, with it 5c outside, the heating wasn’t on and the room was cold.

The pool was fairly large and comfortably warm, and the saunas were fine, all three of them. There’s also an elevator and private parking.

The corridors felt a little dark and eerie. The spa facilities were good for relaxing after a journey, and the staff were friendly and always willing to help. I look forward to staying there again sometime.
