Bogdan, the owner, has gathered all the art, memorabilia and artifacts that give the restaurant its distinctive feel. We met him and had a really nice chat. The cellar is a little museum, and we got a chance to explore it after sitting in the bar area. Breakfast was well catered on both visits, and dinner was good too. A young waiter, whose name I unfortunately didn't get, even offered my daughter his own dinner when they had only one pizza left. We first stayed here a few years ago, when a party was going on. Since we were travelling with our very young daughters, we were given a room on the third floor so we could sleep undisturbed. Last night the hotel was quiet, and we stayed on the first floor. Both rooms were beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. The care and enthusiasm of the staff and Bogdan made the hotel feel truly special. We're grateful for the attention we received and look forward to coming back. Can't recommend this wonderful place enough. Gracias Bogdan. Janek looked after us in the restaurant for a couple of hours. He was personable, full of information and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. The food was great, and the hotel and restaurant feel welcoming, with treasures from around the globe arranged throughout. There are so many little corners to explore. We've only been here a few hours, but our room has already exceeded what we expected in size, cleanliness, decor, atmosphere, comfort and view. My husband and I have said several times how lucky we were to find Hotel Ambasada. If you pick hotels based on reviews, we hope this one encourages you to try it. Great food, people and atmosphere.

The room itself is nice, and the hotel has an eclectic style, but the loud disco music downstairs is a real drawback. Our room is on the second floor, and when it started at 21:30 we could hear the lyrics clearly. On Saturday morning they gave us two sets of earplugs. We wondered why, then found out.

I tried the apple pie in the restaurant and it was the best I've had. The hotel is filled with eclectic art, the rooms are classy and very nice, and the square is an easy walk away. I'd stay here again.

The food is really good, with flavorful dishes at great prices. Yasiek has waited on me several times and is always attentive with a great attitude. Amazing service.
