Black Apart - Palac Tatrzanski

The ski room is huge, parking is plentiful, and picking up the key from a coded locker was convenient. The walls were fairly thick too, so we rarely heard anything, apart from occasional noise through the front door. Cleanliness was another plus, and we got the price-to-quality deal we wanted. The White Comfort room was clean but cramped at 18m², as we had more or less expected. The kitchen was small yet well equipped, though the main room felt crowded with just one wardrobe, all shelves and no hanging space. The bathroom had hardly anywhere to put toiletries, very few shelves, and a tiny sink. Heating was odd. It was incredibly stuffy when we arrived, so we aired the room out, but after that the radiator stayed at 3.5/5 and the room was difficult to warm. The TV never worked, the internet was weak except early in the morning, and phone reception was poor. It was okay for the price, but I wouldn't book a room this small again.

We found the bed damaged as soon as we checked in. We tried calling and texting the owners right away, but got no answer. With no help from them, we had to put books under the bed temporarily so we could sleep. I can't recommend these apartments because the owners showed no responsibility.

The decor has a stylish, atmospheric look, and it may be modest, but I'm not fussy about that. The shocking part was the dirt. The floors were black with dust, and the sofa was so filthy I could barely lie on it. It was disgusting. They charged 180 PLN for cleaning, and I can't see what that was for given the mess. We left before the end of our booking. There's no place for a barbecue or for children, and at this price I wouldn't recommend it. The photos make it look great.

Peaceful and really pleasant. Having a kitchenette in the hotel room is a nice extra. I'd definitely recommend this place.
