We spent almost 20 days here on a business trip. The rooms were very good, and both room service and cleaning were to a high standard. There was a good range of conveniences, including breakfast and meals, a workout area, a coffee area, and a bar. The location worked well for getting to the town center and the main roads.

The food in the restaurant was great, though I wouldn't recommend the breakfast buffet apart from the coffee and a couple of pastries. The location is great, but the hotel is old and needs a complete remodel. The rooms and furnishings are very dated, with old carpets, and the bathroom is badly outdated, even the shower head feels like a $5 one. The towels seem fine when dry, but once wet they always smell terrible, like burning or something. There's plenty more I don't have time to write. The hotel needs a lot of attention and remodeling.

The hotel is in a handy spot, about 10 minutes on foot from the center and 6 minutes from the bus station. But the furniture and decor feel old, and the room lighting is so dim that reading is nearly impossible. Breakfast had a long queue, so we asked for another coffee machine. They brought one the next day, then it was gone again after that. At this price, it doesn't feel like a four-star hotel.

The room was modern, clean, and really comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. City Hotel in Toruń is also close enough to walk to the Old Town, while still being quiet at night. Great value too. I'd happily come back.
