A handy little hotel near the train station and grocery shops. I booked a room between trains so I could shower, nap, and use Wi-Fi, and it was well worth it. I'd recommend it to anyone with a long layover in Chelm. The staff were very friendly, but they didn't speak English, and I don't speak Polish. We got by with the Google Translate app.

Being close to the railway is a big plus, and the staff were polite and very friendly. Breakfast cost 30 PLN and had a standard selection, though no sweets. The beds were so narrow that we slept tensely and nearly fell off several times. Maybe moving them closer to the wall would help. Soundproofing is basically absent, but they provided earplugs, which was thoughtful if you want to sleep in the morning. One request for the staff: when a guest writes in English, please reply in English. I don't speak Polish and had to translate the messages even though I'm fluent in English. I heard other guests raise the same issue. Even if you see that I'm Ukrainian and understand Ukrainian, please answer in English when that's the language I used.

The women working there were welcoming and the service was nice. We were lucky to get a ground-floor room, so I didn't have to carry my suitcases up the stairs. The bedsheets and towels were clean and white. I knew it wasn't a five-star hotel and wasn't expecting anything special, but the stay was still very nice.

We got there early in the morning and were allowed to check in straight away, thanks to the attentive, helpful receptionist who made sure we were comfortable. It's a cozy hotel in a great location, just right for a rest on a long trip. Thank you!
