Dom nad Strugą

A lovely house and grounds for a family break. The owner was thoughtful, easy to communicate with, and very friendly. I highly recommend it!

Set right at the forest’s edge, the house is a peaceful, comfortable, and welcoming place, away from the seaside crowds. There’s a very large terrace, and the atmosphere is lovely. You’re still by the sea, but far enough from the bustle to enjoy some real quiet. Highly recommend.

A huge terrace wraps around the house, with part of it facing the river. We spent time watching nature, sketching and painting, and having coffee, tea, or beer there. Dom nad Strugą also makes a good base for photography trips. We stayed as a family with children, who never got bored. There were so many ideas for play, like building a shelter from branches. The house is practically equipped with everything, and cooking was a pleasure in the spacious, well-equipped kitchen. The hosts had also set a large table beautifully. It’s a magical place at the end of the village, down in a valley and away from the noise. It works well for groups both large and small. I recommend it to anyone looking for a proper rest, including with children, and as a base for yoga, tai-chi, painting, or photography retreats.

We stayed in the cottage with four friendly families, and it sleeps 15. It was quiet there, with a terrace and sun loungers. Getting to the sea means biking or driving, but it’s worth it if you want to be near the coast without staying amid all the bustle.
