Skansen Forest

The room felt cramped, and the bed was really uncomfortable. There was dust everywhere, plus a disgusting smell as soon as we walked in. The toilet and shower were covered in mold, as the pictures show. Getting to or from the hotel means taking a taxi, since you can’t use Bolt or Uber. It costs around 50 zl. each way, and the management won’t book one for you, so you have to arrange it yourself.

You can hear every check-in and check-out because the hotel has poor soundproofing, so it kept waking me up. The bed is narrow, and its firmness might not suit everyone. Breakfast is 35 zlotys, but the only hot dish is sausages. There isn’t even an omelette.

I only booked at the last minute after some unexpected problems when I arrived in Krakow, but this has become my favorite place to stay there. The stay was comfortable and the service was excellent. Thanks for helping me with the taxi, too.

We were comfortable here, and the place suited what we needed. It’s close to the airport, and our room, while not very big, felt warm and cozy. At night, though, the location is easy to miss because the entrance into the woods isn’t visible. Breakfast at Skansen Smaków was very good. Highly recommended!
