Hotel Gambit

The hotel is up on a hill, and it's a 20 minute walk to the Tran station in CZ. The shower was quite nice, but the bed... the photo says it all. Breakfast was poor, and it would take only a little more effort to make it look nicer. If you just need somewhere to sleep, it's a decent choice for the price.

The breakfast was tasty, the staff were nice, and the place was clean. Still, I expected a more comfortable bed for the price. It was made up well, but after each of my two nights I woke up so sore I could barely stand. There were other little problems too. The window handle was nearly broken and had lipstick on it, and there was no water all morning on the second day. The shower head also wouldn't stay fixed in one position. Nothing else was a complete dealbreaker, but together it wasn't a great stay.

I've stopped here several times when passing through. It's fine for a night when all you need is somewhere to sleep before moving on, but I wouldn't pick it for a longer stay. The hotel is very basic, and breakfast is poor.

For the price, I suppose you can't expect more. The inventory is dated and breakfast has a fairly limited choice. It's really only a place to spend the night.
