The rooms felt regular, though I liked how well sound was insulated and found the beds comfortable. Since it’s called Rycerski, I expected more of a medieval feel. That was only in the hall and restaurant. Breakfast was okay, but there weren’t many choices. The coffee machine wasn’t working while we were there, so we had tea instead. The lady at reception was charming and kind. For the quality, the price is fair, and it’s fine for a night’s stay.

It has a classic hotel style, and the food is very good with prompt service. I recommend it if you’re arriving in the area. Avoid the top floor rooms, though, as they’re small.

The breakfast was nice, with eggs cooked to order. The other food was standard Polish fare, nothing particularly special.

The waitress was pleasant at the table, but after we left, the staff started talking and laughing about customers at the bar. It was embarrassing and showed no manners. As for the game dinner, only the hare leg was tasty. The deer tartare was so-so at best, and the potato pancakes with wild boar goulash were a disaster. There was more vegetables, or mamałyga, than meat. The dish was very weak for a price charged like a delicacy. The pheasant and guinea fowl broth was watery and had no taste. The dumplings were made with pork instead of quail and pheasant. The game dishes were poor. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!
