I got the submarine room, which was funny. The restaurant was decent, and they have their own beer tanks. Things were fine until something in my submarine started making noise. I covered the water pipes with towels to quiet it down. In the end, it wasn’t too bad. It’s an unusual kind of hotel.

The restaurant was a great part of the stay, with dinner and a few local beers, and the staff were really friendly. The rooms are large and well equipped. I’ve stayed in at least four hotels in Czestochowa, and this is the best one for me. The lift warning at reception turned out to be well deserved: carrying luggage, I took it anyway, and it took about 50 seconds to move between floors. :-D I was completely happy with the place and would recommend it.

Their restaurant really stood out. They brew their own beer, smoke their own sausages, and bake their own bread. The rooms are arranged in an interesting way, and you can even book a beer spa, where you bathe in beer. A great spot for a few nights. What else do you need?

Book the spa ahead if you want to use it. There’s no shared guest area, and walking in without a reservation seems unlikely. The rooms are quite small but have the basics, with few toiletries and no personal touches. Rooms on the top floor only have roof windows. That lift is painfully slow, so the stairs are much quicker. Anyone with a heart condition could be waiting five minutes for it to arrive and another ten to reach the top. At least the lift tells you about the building’s history, so there’s something to read while you’re stuck.
