Hotel Mercure Czestochowa Centrum

A bad experience at checkout changed my impression. They added a charge to the final bill, saying they couldn’t print, but when I got the invoice there was an unjustified cost. Pay attention. The hotel is near the town center, but also by a main traffic road, so rooms facing that way are noisy. Most rooms are medium to small, the bed sheets are very short, and room service is good but perhaps not perfect. Breakfast has a wide choice and is served for several hours. The restaurant has a good selection of food, local beers, and internal wines, though prices are a bit higher than at competitors.

The room was clean, breakfast was fine, and there were enough parking spaces. Rooms facing the street are quite noisy. Closing the window helps, though I’d probably choose a room on the other side of the hotel. If you stay longer, you have to pay every seven days.

Breakfast was lovely, the coffee very tasty, and dinner was good too. I had the fish and risotto, both well made. The two-bed room had a park view and came with shampoo, shower gel, and a hairdryer. Some noise came through the closed window, but it didn’t disturb my sleep. The internet connection was good for work.

The rooms are clean and the prices are very competitive. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms are pretty small, though, and the showers are so cramped that it’s hard to move without hitting the walls or glass doors. The location is right in the heart of downtown, near shops, restaurants, and historic attractions.
