My room had a spacious balcony, which I appreciated. This is a practical holiday place from socialist times, with the basics but no luxury. Communication in English wasn’t possible, which made things a bit difficult. Nearly all the other guests were retired Polish pensioners.

WARNING: While I was away, someone opened my room and searched through my belongings. During one visit, the door was opened three times between 7 and 10 PM. Avoid this place. There’s cronyism and networking going on. I suggest turning on your camera when you go for a walk. At reception, the woman was having trouble because the receipt showed Euro instead of PLN, and she didn’t know what to do. It felt like she didn’t want to give me a receipt. It took 30 minutes, though she was courteous. EDIT: This happened during the August 2025 season. Mr. Owner, you know about this, and you have me on your calendar. What am I supposed to do? I’m supposed to paste the receipt here.

The food was a problem for me: half the dinner table was meat, so vegans and vegetarians wouldn’t have been able to eat. I was there with a tour group and didn’t know what I was getting into. I won’t go back. I felt afraid to sleep in the room. There were holes in the walls, lots of cobwebs behind the wardrobe, and a broken door lock. The whole place felt shabby. Its location is great, which is why I’m giving it two stars, but otherwise I couldn’t find anything to recommend it.
