Hotel Astra

Dumb.

Okay.

The food and cake were delicious, and our guests were very happy. We were looked after throughout the First Communion celebration, with professional service, great organization and entertainment for the children. The classic, beautiful hall gave it a special atmosphere. We highly recommend the restaurant for this kind of event. Thank you!

I’d strongly recommend Pogoria Hotel. The extra cost is small, and the convenience, service and care for guests are excellent. My experience at Astra Hotel was the opposite. Reception was listed as open until 10pm, and I had told them I’d arrive between 9 and 10. At 9:30, the receptionist messaged that she wouldn’t wait any longer, then sent photos showing a box with a key and the door I was meant to use. The key didn’t fit any of the three doors. Nobody answered the phone, and no one appeared the next day either. I wasn’t prepared for the extra cost of staying at Pogoria, so I formally asked Astra to refund the difference. They responded with threats, saying I should be grateful they weren’t charging me the full amount, that being unable to get in was my fault, and that I’d caused the hotel huge losses. Staff here don’t follow the stated reception hours and don’t seem concerned about guest safety.
