A peaceful, quiet place with good conditions for a reasonable price.

The rooms were just as described, and we had complete privacy. A very nice man gave us the keys, and that was the only time we saw him. The woman who owns the place was lovely, and phone contact was great. It's peaceful and quiet, a wonderful spot to relax. We'll definitely come back for a longer stay with a bigger group. We had a really active, enjoyable stay in the little cottage in Szczytna, which suited two of us perfectly. It was clean and had everything we needed, plus heating, a big help on colder days. The internet was very fast. Each cottage has a grill out front, where you can also make a small bonfire, and the views are fantastic. The owners live nearby but were kind and helpful without hovering. We were especially charmed by visiting the Doe and Roe Deer gardens. At dawn and dusk we could hear deer roaring during the rut, along with the stream near the cottages. The village is quiet, and the train station is fairly close. The train ride is fantastic, crossing lowlands, highlands, and tunnels, as well as the historic bridge in Lewin, for a small fee. In town, you can walk to shops including Biedronka, Dino, and Leviatan, and there are restaurants too. You can climb in all directions. The peaks may not be anyone's dream mountains, but some are quite challenging. We'd highly recommend the place. Warm greetings to the owners from holidaymakers in Łódź.

In front of the cottage there's a table and benches with a fire pit, and there's shared firewood. Kids have lots of room to play, with a playhouse, trampoline, volleyball court, and soccer field. Inside, you'll find basic cutlery, glasses, plates, and pots, plus a fridge, induction stove, and a small bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower. The cottages are set back from the road, so it's a good choice for a quiet break. Ours was clean, calm, and pleasant. I recommend it.
