The cleaning was poor too: the rooms were only in mediocre shape, the tiles were smeared, and the cleaning lady often seemed to be under the influence of alcohol. Calling this place “boutique” feels like a mockery of guests and hotel standards. Breakfast costs 50 PLN per person, yet the dining room felt like someone’s private kitchen. Some people took food from the shared glass-fronted deli fridge below the buffet and prepared their own meals right beside the dishes paying guests had bought. They sliced rolls and cooked sausages, leaning over and moving under the hands of people serving food. I felt like I was in a stranger’s home, with people cooking above me. A child ran around coughing and vomiting over the tables while the parents talked loudly and seemed oblivious to everyone else. The receptionist just smiled and told them there was cereal and milk they could take, instead of stepping in. It seemed the hotel was letting people who hadn’t paid eat from the buffet alongside paying guests. This felt like a serious hygiene problem. Food was being handled across zones without separation, creating a risk of cross-contamination and a real health hazard. I believe the sanitary inspectorate should intervene over what looked to me like a violation of HACCP guidelines.

The biggest problems were the small, airless rooms and the poor Wi-Fi. There’s no air conditioning, and even with the window open and the fan running, it stayed hot and stuffy. The TV was too small for the distance from the bed, the picture quality was poor, and the channels didn’t work. Smart TVs with internet access would be a good idea. I ended up needing to use my own phone because the Wi-Fi was so weak. Still, the beds were comfortable, the rooms clean and well kept, and the staff very friendly and always ready to help. Access to the sauna and jacuzzi was included in the price. Despite those drawbacks, I’d happily recommend the hotel.

There’s a kitchenette guests can use around the clock, plus a sauna and jacuzzi. Breakfast is a buffet, with hot options offered by the woman overseeing it, and there was something for everyone. Our room was clean and well equipped. The hotel is also well placed, close to both the beach and the city center.

The room was on the small side, and it got hot without air conditioning. There was only a weak fan, and the Wi-Fi was weak too. The TV channels were poor and needed reinstalling. On the plus side, the service was friendly and everything was clean. We had a freezer in the room, tea and coffee without limits, and access to the kitchen for all guests. Breakfast could be purchased, and shops and attractions were nearby. The jacuzzi and sauna were great.
