It was okay, nothing too bad.

The price is good, and you can order lunch or dinner here. It’s a handy place for a business trip or a weekend in Elbląg. The property has a somewhat late Gierek-era feel, though it has been renovated. If a shower curtain is a dealbreaker for you, you’ll need to stay elsewhere. I recommend it.

The hotel and room facilities are standard and okay, as you’d expect from a one-star place. Don’t expect luxury. I do have serious concerns about the location and neighborhood: strangers came in from outside during our stay and disturbed us, while the staff didn’t respond.

Atletikon used to be a hotel for athletes and is now a modest hotel. It’s a good fit for people who want peace and a simple stay at an affordable price, starting at 40 PLN. Rooms can be rented at a reasonable, negotiable rate. Under the MOSiR statute, children’s and youth groups from sports clubs get accommodation at a much lower special price. It’s close to the stadium and sports hall, easy to reach, and has parking on site. Food is available all day.
