The kitchen, pub, breakfast, and accommodation are all a pleasure, and the pub stays lively and entertaining late into the night, with something for everyone. I love coming back to this cosy, welcoming hotel whenever I'm in the city. It feels like a home away from home. The owner is kind and easy to talk to, and is always up for a friendly chat and genuinely listens. The staff are just as lovely, helpful and attentive, and they go out of their way to make the stay pleasant. Compliments to the whole team. Highly recommended!

The employees were very nice, and I had a good laugh with them. The two men I spoke to had either excellent English or enough for a basic conversation. The woman spoke less, but enough for me to order food and leave the keys. I enjoyed the old school style, and the location in the old part of town puts plenty of nice sights nearby, including the mighty cathedral. The main street is also an easy walk away. There's a restaurant and pub on site. I tried the pizza, which was very nice, and they have a great selection of beer and plenty of liquor for drinks. My only complaint is that they didn't have smokey whiskey.

I stayed in the honeymoon room for a great night in 2014. It was clean, quiet, and a great room. The restaurant downstairs served tasty food in good-sized portions, and the staff were very friendly. Street parking in front of the hotel was free at night.

We shouldn't have had lunch at Pensjonat MF. The Pizza Margerita was burnt, and the edible part had no flavor. The cold tomato soup was so oily we couldn't finish it. The owner was welcoming and friendly, so one star for that, but zero for the food quality.
