The location is appealing, on a quiet street near the city center, and the bed was comfortable. Our cat came back covered in cobwebs after exploring the nooks and crannies, so the rooms were only relatively clean. The standard was decent, but the sofa was a disaster. Direct access outside could be useful, though in our case disgusting snails kept crawling into the room even with the door shut, and covered the door. Pets are accepted, but I wouldn’t recommend this place to cat owners. The garden has beautiful flowers that are highly toxic to cats, so we couldn’t let ours outside. The owner was kind and polite, but refused to refund part of the cost of our seven-day stay. We had to cut the vacation short after two days because of a family tragedy, and had hoped for at least half back. Her friendly manner didn’t come with much empathy. I regret agreeing to pay the remaining approximately 2,000 złoty net, because I didn’t get a receipt and that closed off my legal recourse. The owner said she would reimburse us if someone rented our room. I live over a thousand kilometers from Frombork, so how could I check whether that happened? I definitely don’t recommend it.

The location worked really well for us: far enough from the center to avoid noise, but close enough that walking there was easy. There’s a large garden with a seating area, and parking behind a gate, so we didn’t have to worry about the car. Ewa is kind and warm. After a short chat, she shared useful tips that helped us explore and enjoy the area. The rooms are ordinary, as expected, not a five-star hotel. We quickly gave the attic spiders names. If you don’t have a garden, you may not realize spiders are normal. As for the service, do your homework and look after yourself, and it’ll be fine. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, with a kettle and TV. There’s also a fridge and microwave in the hallway, plus a large kitchen. The friendly owner greets you with a smile, shows you around, and explains everything. The big garden has a barbecue, fire pit, gazebo, swing, and more.

The rooms feel dated, the walls are paper thin, and the doors seem like cardboard. We could hear everything, and hallway light came through the gaps around the door. The facilities are very basic, with just one small shared fridge in the hall. The owner also hadn't told us we needed to notify them 15 minutes before arriving, though other information was on the booking site.
